Thanks guys, it's pretty astonishing how much better the car is. It is more supple, quieter but so much more controlled. Gone is the floatiness at speed and gone is the leaning in corners. It's impressive that such a heavy barge can have this level of comfort and handling.

Cornering is totally different now, the front just grips rather than understeering and this then allows the diff to do its job better.

A couple of years ago I was looking for an estate car for my dogs which also had four wheel drive
for the Winter and I decided to get a 335d touring. I sourced a car from a garage in Stafford and on the 300+ miles home I discovered it could do with some fettling.

Handling - having had it on 2 cars already I knew what to expect and its as good as always.

Steering - now has much more feel - geometry changed or just a slightly lower ride height? Anyway it works

Hi Kevin,

I tested the car last couple of days and I am highly impressed with everything. The power, is amazing and more importantly it feels really safe to use. The traction is phenomenal. When out on a test drive yesterday, I had no choice but to drive over a pot hole in the road and it seemed to gobble it up! Whereas before in a similar car it would crash in and out of similar holes in the road if unavoidable.
