Birds have always offered BMW performance tuning products that they believe perform the best on your car, only after thorough testing on our own demonstrators and trying various brands do we decide on which products to offer you. Suspensions in particular have been a talking point for BMW tuners for a very long time, with so many brands and manufacturers claiming to have the best kits on offer, but nobody finding that perfect balance between ride quality and handling. The truth is that, in our opinion, nobody had ever created a suspension system for BMWs that worked adequately on U.K roads, yet retained its sporty stiffness. So, after years of nagging from our customers, we took it upon ourselves to find the ultimate BMW suspension solution...
After major development work with our suspension gurus, and plenty of rigorous testing, we believe we have found the cure for this complicated problem. We call this new range of performance suspensions the ‘B – Suspensions’, and will soon have a set-up available for all new BMW models. Of course claiming to have the ultimate performance product is easy, so we prefer to let the press and customers tell the story for us... watch this space for reviews. B3 Complete Conversion- The BMW 335i is recognised as a superior sporting saloon. The twin turbo six has huge performance potential, but given that BMW cannot allow this car to steal the thunder of the M3, the engine performance has been capped to a deliberately modest level. We are proud, therefore, to announce the first fully developed engine package for this car. Development of this engine was started before BMW released the car into the public domain, and the all-important engineering and durability testing has been completed in record time. The main components of the B3 Complete Conversion are an engine performance upgrade, Quaife limited slip differential, B3 Sport Suspension, and the B3 Anti-roll bar kit. However many owners of different BMW models will prefer a combination of different components, and we are happy to negotiate a personalised package. Birds Performance Package is designed to give your BMW increased engine power and the ability to apply it to the road. It is a combination of a proven engine management modification (horse power gains vary depending on BMW model) along with a Quaife limited slip differential, and is the ultimate BMW performance tuning package available for serious BMW tuners (prices vary between £1500 and £2000 depending on BMW model). The success of our Complete Conversions has led us into developing smaller packages, mainly for the BMW performance tuners who only want the essential (and most exciting) performance products. Whilst the Birds Performance Package is an engine modification and a Quaife limited slip differential, we are able to customise packages upon the customer’s individual preference, and will advise the most suitable modifications for them.
Birds Dynamics Package is designed to transform the standard, modern BMW's awful ride and handling back into the real ultimate driving machine. This package includes the extensively developed new B3 sport suspension, B3 anti roll bar kit, rear subframe bushes, and of course the Quaife limited slip differential. This tends to be the more popular package as, whilst it does not include the engine management upgrade, the modifications are a night and day difference and completely exclusive to Birds. The press and many of our loyal internet forum customers have commended us for creating a package that truly releases the potential of the modern BMW, and for being able to combine individual performance elements without compromising other aspects of performance.
